On-Site Consultation

Depending on your needs, we may arrange an in-person visit. For on-site consultations, we charge a non-refundable fee of $350, credited toward your first Seriatim invoice if you proceed with our services.

 
 
 

Meet Our Team

Our warm, friendly, and non-judgmental team will assess your space, listen to your concerns, and take pictures (with your permission). We’ve seen it all—no need to tidy up! Showing us your closets and drawers helps us give a more accurate estimate.

 
 
 

Estimate Presentation

Sonya and her project coordinator will create a personalized estimate that outlines the services that best fit your goals and budget., including the price, tax, and a calendar of events. You’ll receive this via email, followed by a follow-up call or email for any questions or clarifications.

 
 
 

Engagement Agreement

Once agreed upon, we’ll prepare a formal Engagement Agreement, which requires signatures from both you and Sonya, shared securely via DocuSign.

 
 
 

Starting the Project

After signing the agreement, we’ll begin work immediately. Our project coordinator will help set everything up, but note that all sessions require a minimum of four hours.

 
 
 

Payment

We work off a deposit and provide weekly invoices to track progress. Payments can be made via Credit Card, Check, or ACH transfer.

+ How are you different from a moving company?

Seriatim is not a moving company, but coordinating with movers is an integral part of our service. While movers handle the packing and transportation of your belongings, Seriatim manages every detail of the process. We oversee the packing, ensuring that your furniture and household goods are handled with the utmost care, and we ensure everything is placed exactly where it belongs in your new space, with precision and attention to detail.

+ Will you work with our moving company?

Yes, Seriatim has worked with several different national and local moving companies, and will work with the mover of your choice. We can also make recommendations if one has not been selected yet.

+ Are you insured?

Seriatim is fully bonded and insured, offering comprehensive coverage for your belongings. Our coverage protects against losses from the moment we begin organizing and preparing your items until the point at which we start unpacking them in your new space, ensuring peace of mind throughout the entire process.

+ Can we hire you for just one phase of the relocation process?

At Seriatim, we specialize in customizing our services to meet the unique needs of each client, even when that means focusing on a single, essential task. Whether it's organizing a specific area or creating a meticulous inventory of valuable items, we approach every detail with the highest level of care and expertise. Our unpacking services are often called upon for last-minute or urgent requests, ensuring that even the most time-sensitive tasks are completed with exceptional precision and efficiency.

From the moment you engage with Seriatim, you can trust that your most valuable possessions will be handled with the utmost care and expertise. We begin by guiding you through the process of notifying your insurance carrier, advising you on exactly what to communicate to ensure full coverage for the upcoming move. We then meticulously photograph your valuables and create a detailed digital inventory. Lastly, we coordinate with a specialized art mover who will expertly wrap, crate, and transport your pieces to their new destination, ensuring they arrive in pristine condition. With Seriatim, you’ve come to the right place — this is our everyday standard of excellence.
